The Citizen TSUYOSA x seconde/seconde/ (NJ0157-81L) is a clever, subversive take on the modern integrated-bracelet sports watch, born from a collaboration with French artist Romaric André. Limited to 3,600 pieces worldwide, this 40mm stainless steel timepiece transforms the classic sunray blue dial into a digital battlefield where a pixel-art katana minute hand appears to "slice" through the hour markers as it rotates. This playful concept is tied together by a thematic engraving on the exhibition case back that reads, “Being smaller has never stopped Minutes from slicing Hours into pieces,” a nod to the 3,600 seconds that make up an hour.

Beyond its artistic flair, the watch remains a highly capable daily driver, featuring a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a magnified date window, 50 metres of water resistance, and the reliable in-house Calibre 8210 automatic movement, which includes a hacking seconds function for precise time setting.
